Want to be weight-loss buddies?

Gaining weight alone is easy and sometimes even fun...that is, until you walk past a mirror or see a picture of yourself...

Losing weight alone...well...it sucks. 
& I wish I had a workout/health buddy.

The perfect workout/health buddy for me would be encouraging, supportive, have a good sense of humor, and be a little competitive. 
  
Interested in being bloggy workout/health buddies? 

Here is how things will work:
  • We will do this from September 7th, until December 25th...--our new "in shape" bodies will be like Christmas presents to ourselves lol
  • Use MyFitnessPal.com (there is a mobile app as well!) to track food and exercise--we can add each other as friends there to help each other stay in line!
  • Weigh-in every Friday using your MyFitnessPal.com account...it will NOT show us your weight, but will say how many pounds you have lost. You can even add a weight-loss ticker to your blog.
  • Blog once a week about your progress & link up! 
  • Share healthy recipes
Sounds pretty simple and doable, right?...So what do you say? Want to be weight-loss buddies?

  2. I must admit, I read this yesterday and was being a CHICKEN.
    I have not been doing well in my weight loss quest and my friends are either not motivated or don't "have time". I really wanted to join you when I first saw this yesterday but was a littel scared of the idea of making it public and way scared of bloging about it. But I am going to fight the fear! I really want and need to drop some weight and I can't put it off any longer. Oh yeah and I love a little competition! So, I am in!
