How many times have you said I'm going to go to the gym, or go for a run but come up with excuses like "Well it's raining outside", "I have too many things to get done", "I'll start tomorrow", etc.
Don't worry, I hate to admit this as well...but I do it ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME! "Oh I can eat this greasy burger, I'll just eat better tomorrow"..."I'll start "insert latest diet/challenge" tomorrow!" and blah blah blah.
Excuses and promised tomorrows get us no where! It feels comforting to say them in the moment, but we're going to regret it in the always too near future!
So right now, yes...RIGHT NOW! Let's make a promise to ourselves that we aren't going to break! Promise that when we have a plan, we'll stick to it! That when we start making up excuses for why we can't exercise, we'll come up with a solution! It's raining outside? Too hot outside?...Too bad, NO EXCUSES!!! Grab your water, turn on the AC, throw in a Jillian Michaels DVD, dance in your room, use the Wii, or pull out your VHS player and throw in a Turbo tape for all I care! Just find a way to burn calories and MAKE IT HAPPEN!
